On the occasion of 133th birth anniversary of Pt. Premnath Dogra Ji, the BJP senior leader Ajay Pargal & BJYM State Secretary Ishant Gupta organized a pogramme under the pictorial of Pt. Prem Nath Dogra Ji at BALGRAN – a Charitable Home for Destitute Children at Channi Rama. It commenced with giving tributes to Pt. Dogra Ji by garlanding flowers, followed by cultural activities like singing, poetry by children and after that distribution of eatables among children. Other who accompanied were Chairman Balgran, Staff Members, Shivalika Pargal, Khushboo Gupta, Shiven Gupta, Samian Gupta, & Amog Gupta. The program ended with sung of national anthem. Ajay Pargal & Ishant Gupta, while paying tributes, said that Pt. Premnath Dogra was an institution in himself, who, with his vision and able leadership successfully led the historic “Ek Vidhan, Ek Nishan, Ek Pradhan” agitation of 1953. They added that the personality, dedication towards the national cause and zero compromise on basic principles earned the distinction for him being called Sher-e-Duggar. They said that besides a visionary leader, Dogra ji was also an outstanding sportsman and excelled in football while in play ground. They said that Panditji had nourished Praja Parishad and later Bharatiya Jana Sangh in the state which has finally resulted into BJP becoming a strong political party and now sharing power in the government. Hundreds of Boys and Girls also paid their tributes.
