Ambedkar provided constitutional safeguards to women: Rekha

On the occasion of 126th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bheem Rao Ambedkar,
BJP Mahila Morcha District President Rekha Mahajan, along with Mahila Morcha State Vice President Monika Khosla, State Secretary Neeru Anand,District General Secretaries Savita Anand, Pooja chouhan,Kiran Aggarwal,Sharda Devi,Reva Masoom,Lalit Sharma,l laid wreaths at the portrait of Dr. Ambedkar and paid their rich tributes.The programme was organised in Ward No.2 by Ward President Darshana Sharma.

Rekha Mahajan said on the occasion that the birth anniversary of Dr.Ambedkar is celebrated as” SAMRASTA DIVAS ” by Bharatiya Janata Party across the country. Dr. Ambedkar was a great jurist, economist and social reformer of the recent times, who campaigned against social discrimination towards lower sections of the society, while also supporting the rights of women and labour class. He was Independent India’s first law minister and the principal architect of the Constitution of India, for which he has been decorated with Bharat Ratna.

The vision of Dr. Ambedkar about women is explicitly depicted in Indian Constitution The principle of gender equality is enshrined in Indian Constitution in its Preamble,Fundamental rights,Fundamental duties and directive principles.He laid down the foundation of social justice as he was of the firm belief that there could be no social justice without gender equality.

Dr.Ambedkar who was an architect of Indian Constitution,provided strong constitutional safeguards to all women ,irrespective of their religion,castes and class. Ambedkar had a particular humanitarianism view.He frequently raised his voice against all sorts of injustice towards women.His deep concerns and feelings for all round development of women are expressed in his each sentence and word.Thus it would be appropriate to call him a true well wisher of Independent India.
