Arora lays foundation for retaining wall

BJP Senior leader & MLC Ramesh Arora (Adv.) laid foundation for retaining wall of Trikuta Yatri Nivas at Ambphalla in presence of JMC Executive Engineer, AEE, JE and members of Management committee of Trikuta Yatri Nivas, including its President Ramesh Gupta.
Ramesh Arora has contributed Rs. 8 lakhs from his CDF for construction of the said retaining wall.
While speaking to media, on this occasion, Ramesh Arora said that being an MLC, funds are kept at his disposal and it becomes one’s duty to utilize the same for the development and welfare of the public without indulging into malpractice or diverting these funds for any other purpose which is not linked with the public work. He appreciated the efforts made by management committee of Trikuta Yatri Nivas in raising huge structure for the welfare of general public and have developed Trikuta Yatri Nivas as tourist visiting point. He assured the management that more funds may be contributed if needed in public interest without any discrimination on the basis of caste, creed or religion.
Arora further announced rupees five lakh for community centre at Pandorian and Rs.10 lakh kept at the disposal of Jammu Bar Association. Rs. 2 lakh has been contributed for a well in Domana.
Ramesh Arora also lambasted former Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah for raising issues like autonomy and AFSPA. He said that continuation or revocation of AFSPA should be left to the security experts instead of making it a political issue.
“As far autonomy, the people of Jammu & Kashmir has time and again rejected the same and humiliating defeat of NC in Lok Sabha and thereafter assembly elections is clear indication of the mind of people that they are not going to buy such pleasing slogans of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and his colleagues”, Arora said and added that the people cannot be misled by the NC. He also took the Panthers Chairman Harsh Dev Singh for shedding crocodile tears for dogras when he is neither minister nor MLA. He said that Harsh Dev Singh should first come out with atleast one instance during his tenure as Minister or MLA if a single word was uttered for Dogras.
