Balbir takes over as Vice-Chairperson

BJP former State Spokesperson & senior leader Balbir Ram Rattan, formly took over as the Vice-Chairperson of Jammu & Kashmir State Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes & Backward Classes Development Corporation Ltd. in presence of Rajya Sabha MP Shamsher Singh Manhas, Corporation Managing Director Ravinder Pandita, MLC Ashok Khajuria, MLAs Rajesh Gupta, Kuldeep Kumar and Dr. Devinder Manyal, BJP State Vice-Presidents Yudhvir Sethi and Rajni Sethi, State General Secretary Pawan Khajuria, State Secretaries Sanjay Baru and Aseem Gupta, State Spokespersons Prof. Virender Gupta, Brig. Anil Gupta, S.S. Bijral and Arun Kumar Gupta, Jammu District President Baldev Singh Billawaria, Jammu West District President Ayodhya Gupta, Mahila Morcha District President Rekha Mahajan and other senior leaders.

The new VC submitted his joining report to the Corporation Managing Director and was later garlanded and presented bouquets by the party activists, BJP supporters and the Corporation staff.

Shamsher Singh Manhas, while congratulating Balbir Ram on joining as Vice-Chairperson of the prestigious Corporation, expressed confidence that because of his long career in Bharatiya Janata Party, he shall achieve success in further vitalizing the activities of the Corporation and fulfil his responsibility with great vigour and serve the community with best of his efforts.

Balbir Ram expressed his gratitude to the BJP and the State Government for providing him the responsibility to serve the people of Jammu & Kashmir and assured both of them that he would not leave any stone unturned while performing his duties and serving the society. He said that his task would be to deliver justice and make people feel that the SC, ST, OBC Corporation is friendly to the needy and the poor.

Similarly, Ashok Khajuria also conveyed his greetings and said that the people will be benefitted with the taking over of the post of Vice-
Chairperson by Balbir Ram.

MLAs Rajesh Gupta, Dr. Davinder Manyal and Kuldeep Kumar also conveyed their best wishes to the new Vice-Chairperson.
