BJP believes in development and welfare of public : State General Secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul

On day two Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) state general secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul organized ‘Booth Workers Sammelan’ at Watergam- Rafiabad in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, where he termed booth level workers as the face of the party in the public.

Kaul reiterated workers to work hard to strengthen the party cadre at the grass root level by organizing door to door campaign.

Kaul was the chief guest on the occasion, where scores of party workers of the area attended the sammelan, which was organized by Gulzar Ahmad- party’s president for Rafiabad constituency.

“Holding the Sammelan of grass root level party workers shows the importance of booth level workers in strengthening the party,” he said, adding, every worker should work extensively on every single booth to ensure maximum participation of people in the party fold.

Kaul also highlighted the achievements of Narendra Modi led NDA Government at the Centre and BJP coalition in the state. “We should take benefit from the different schemes meant for general public,” he said.

Kaul said party equally worked for the welfare of Muslim community in the country. “Modi Ji reduced the fare for holy pilgrimage for Hajj, which will benefit lacs of Muslim pilgrims’ every year,” he said.

Kashmiri Hajj pilgrims’ will get maximum benefits.

Kaul said the BJP was concerned for the welfare of general public in Kashmir, because of its consistent efforts ring road for Srinagar city was approved.

Quoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s today’s address at a conference on ‘Islamic Heritage: Promoting Understanding & Moderation’, Kaul said every religion promotes human values, and India had been a “cradle of all major religions in the world”.

Party district general secretary Mohammad Anwar Khan also said on the occasion that dialysis facilities in district hospitals were made available for the patients. “Patients were bound to travel longer distances to avail these facilities, now which is available in district hospitals,” Khan said.

He also appealed party workers to educate people about the schemes initiated by Centre and State Governments for the welfare of poor and downtrodden section of society so that maximum deserving people get benefited.
