BJP greets people on ‘Women Int’l Day’

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Media In-charge Kashmir, Altaf Thakur greeted people on International Women Day and said that the party is committed to empower women folk.

Conveying the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message to the state inhabitants, he said that from ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ to better health and education facilities, the efforts of the government towards women-led development are unwavering.
“Our financial inclusion efforts, skill development initiatives and MUDRA Bank will empower our Nari Shakti to contribute to India’s growth,” Thakur quoted Modi.
International Women’s Day is being celebrated today to highlight the achievements of women while calling for greater equality.
“I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to the women of state and thanked them for their contributions over the years in the building of our state,”he said, adding, under the leadership of Modi, women have been given the highest level of respect in our country.
He added, “On this day, let us redouble our efforts for achieving gender equity and empowerment of women.”

Thakur emphasized the need to respect the right of women to equal opportunities and a dignified life.
