‘Appeals people to maintain peace’

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a meeting headed by its state president, Sat Sharma to discusses present unrest in the Kashmir and appealed people to maintain peace.
Sat Sharma while chairing the meeting said that some people in the Valley don’t want peace, because of which entire Kashmir is suffering. “There are some people who don’t want peace here and they also tried to disturb Pir Panchal and Chenab Valley areas, by luring the inhabitants, but failed in reaching out to these areas,” he said, adding, the civil society of Pir Panchal and Chenab Valley out rightly rejected them.
He also said that Central Government was committed is end the growing unemployment here by established new industries and preparing young entrepreneurs from here. “We have brought this issue into the notice of All Party Delegation (APD),” Sharma said.
BJP senior leader and MP from Jammu Jugal Kishore said that central government was committed for the development of state and PM Narendra Modi want to see Kashmir a progressive region by implementing maximum centrally sponsored schemes.
“We are pained for the loss of lives and property in Kashmir,” he said. “We appeal youth not to attack camps and forces, which have resulted in destruction.”
BJP general secretary (Org) Ashok Koul said that the current unrest in the Kashmir is sponsored, in which huge amount is involved to disturb peace. “Kashmir is the land of Sufis and Rishi’s, people are peace loving here, but some people are hell bent to disturb it,” he said, adding, innocent children are involved into the violence.
BJP MLC from Kashmir Sofi Yusuf also appealed people to maintain peace and not to indulge violence.
The meeting was also attended by MLC Ramesh Arora, Pawan Khajuria, BJP State General Secretary State office Bearers, District Presidents and senior leaders.
