BJP inaugurates displaced distt office

BJP State president, Sat Sharma along with Party MLC, Surinder Ambardar today inaugurated the office of Kashmir Displaced District at Kachi Chawni here. The Kashmiri displaced district of the party has been allotted full fledged office to raise the issues of displaced people. Addressing the meeting, Sharma exhorted the new team to work hard for nation building and strengthening the party and added that Centre as well as State Government is committed for welfare of the displaced people. Virender Kuchroo senior party leader, outgoing president, T N Bhat and others also addressed the function. Newly elected president Chand Ji Bhat said that his party will never let Pandits down as it is committed to honourable and dignified return as per the aspirations of the community. Meanwhile BJP displaced district office has postponed today’s protest demonstration in front of the Relief Organization for denial of three months ration to Kashmiri migrants on the intervention of Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh. This was stated by the president of Displaced District unit Chand Ji Bhat here today. He said a delegation of the Party unit called on Dr Singh who took up the issue with Consumer Affairs Minister, Ch Zulfkar and urged him to ensure the supply of ration to migrants immediately. Chand Ji said that CAPD Minister had assured Dr Singh that the ration will be supplied within days as the instructions were already passed on by him to concerned officers.
