The State unit of BJP Law & Legal Affairs Department, under its State Convenor Advocate Onkar Seth, convened its meeting at Trikuta Nagar office. It was chaired by BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A.).
The meeting was informed about the activities being undertaken during the last one month and the response of the people associated with Law & Legal fraternity, besides introducing the team to the State President.
Onkar Sethi, while giving details of the future programme to be undertaken, told that one day State convention of the Law & Legal Affairs Department of BJP is scheduled to be held on July 30 this month, which will be attended by more than 400 advocates from all the three regions of the state. He said that number of preparatory and introductory meetings in this context have been held in Kathua, Smaba, Hiranagar, Ramban and Banihal and the concept of one booth one lawyer is being implemented at each booth.
Sat Sharma appreciated the sincere efforts of the team of Law & Legal Affairs Department for strengthening it across the state and said that a large section of the society comprise of advocates and it is expected that more and more of them will be getting associated with the BJP. He further said that the party will also be benefitted by the department as it will extend legal support and service to the party in legal matters as well.
BJP State Secretaries Vikram Randhawa and Sanjay Baru, State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan and Office bearers of Law & Legal Affairs Department State Co-Convenors Rajesh Thapa, Adarsh Bhagat and S. Amrik Singhy, Office Coordinator Radhaysham Sharma, Office Co-Coordinator Vikas Pankaj Sharma, State Executive Member Pankaj Dubey and Hunar Gupta attended the meeting.
