BJP organizes Inter School Symposium on Good Governance

The State Unit of BJP in collaboration with NSM College of Education, organized an Inter School Symposium on Good Governance, which was participated by students of 9th, 10th and 11th Classes drawn from nine different schools of Jammu district.

BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A) was the chief guest while MoS Education  Priya Sethi was Guest of Honour.

The programme commenced with the lighting of lamp, followed by  Saraswati Vandana and later welcome address by Er. Parneesh Mahajan, Chairman NSM Group of Schools and Colleges.

In the tough competition, Rasleen Kour stood Ist, Sunil Kumar 2nd and Tabasum Nisar stood 3rd . The winners were presented trophies while all the participants were given certificates of participation.

Sat Sharma, while speaking on the objective of organizing such an event, said that the country has witnessed overall development and progress under the able Prime Ministership of Narendra Modi. The poll promise of eradicating corruption and providing Good Governance have started giving results, which are visible on ground. The Good Governance, under Narendra Modi, has indeed been the major achievement of the Centre government, which need to be highlighted. It is in this context, the party is organizing programmes titled Good Governance with stress on development and various schemes initiated by the Modi government for the welfare of the masses and taking the country to new heights of development. Swachh Bharat, Beti Bachao Beti Padao, Mudra Bank and various other projects of women empowerment are going to change the social scenario in the country.

Priya Sethi, while addressing the programme, said that it has happened for the first time in post independent India that the country has a Prime Minister, who is working 18 hours selflessly to mitigate the sufferings of the people and starting a number of developmental projects and welfare schemes for the benefit of all the sections of the society. It is indeed Good Governance, which is the gift of Narendra Modi to the people of India.         

The other speakers in the programme appreciated the organizers for choosing such a relevant subject and providing the students an appropriate platform to express their views.

BJP State Vice-President Yudhvir Sethi, while speaking in the programme said that various skill development projects launched by Narendra Modi government are aimed at providing means of self employment, which need to be highlighted.   

State General Secretary Harinder Gupta said that the BJP in the state is organizing such programmes with the sole motive of exposing the opposition parties for their false and baseless propaganda against Narendra Modi, who has achieved the distinction of being Vikas Purush.  

State Spokesperson & Programme Convenor Prof. Virender Gupta, spoke on the series of the programmes to be organised at different levels in connection with the birthday of  Atal Behari Vajpayee titled Sushasan Divas.  

N.D. Rajwal, Jaidev Rajwal, V.K. Sethi, Ayodhya Gupta, Sanjeev Sharma, Hari Dutt Shishu, Prem Gupta, Jeet Angral, Keshav Chopra, Munish Gupta, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Atul Bakshi, Pyare Mawa, Tarsem Gupta and Vinod Wazir were prominent among those who were present in the programme.
