Ramnagar Unit of BJP took JKNPP at task by questioning its demand on probing mysterious deaths taken place in last one year by asking Panthers’ leaders to also seek probe in the numerous deaths, rapes, immoral trafficking and other related cases happened in last 20 years during the tenure of Harsh Dev Singh.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, BJP’s Ramnagar Mandal Pardhan Rajinder Sharma along with Kartar Chand SC Morcha President and Arif Banday ST Morcha President said that defeated candidate of JKNPP in Assembly poll Harsh Dev Singh has created an issue on few deaths while he is silent in scores of mysterious deaths, rapes, etc, which had happened during his tenure as MLA Ramnagar.
The BJP leaders sought a reply from Harsh about the rape of a Dalit girl in Dhanwalt , where the case was compounded and penalty of Rs 5000 each was fixed on both the accused. They also sought response regarding application filed in Police Station Ramnagar, by a girl student some 3 years back, where she had become pregnant on account of sexual assault by a teacher and local JKNPP leader in a tutorial. They also highlighted the case of one Ashok Kumar Principal, in which he was brutally beaten up with hockey sticks and allegedly no FIR was registered against the assailants due to the patronage of JKNPP.
The BJP leaders also mentioned the facts which had come to fore through RTI filed in 2012 by Sangeet Kumar Advocate figuring that till 15th February 2012, Police Station Ramnagar registered 27 murder cases and 37 rapes, Police Station Majalta nine murders, 10 rapes and 5 kidnappings, and Police Station Basant Garh 23 murders, 14 rapes and 9 kidnappings.
