Camps helping people seek medical advice at doorstep: Yudhvir Sethi

Yudhvir Sethi, State Vice President BJP  said that sacrifices of martyrs will never go waste and county was indebted to them by all means. “We live peacefully only because soldiers guard our borders”, he said adding that whatever we do for them or ex-servicemen it’s too little and cannot be equated with the services they render for nation.

He was speaking after inaugurating free medical camps in mark foundation day celebrations of B.J.P and in relation with birth centenary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya are helping people to seek medical advice at thier doorsteps being organised to remember martyrs and extend health care facilities to war widows, widows of soldiers and ex-servicemen. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he said is organising these camps to help people seek medical advice at their doorsteps. The move, he said is helping thousands of people who don’t have access to medical facilities or good doctors.

Yudhvir Sethi was addressing gathering at the free medical camp organised at R S Pura today. Brijeshwar Rana, District President BJP R.S. Pura, Brig. P.M. Bali, Commander H.Q. 162, Infantary Brigade and Brig. (Retd.) Harcharan Singh (Dir. E.S.M, J&K) were also present on the occasion.

Dr. Mohit Arora, Dr. Nipin Gupta, Dr. Jatinder Salaria and Dr. Iqbal (Dental) rendered their services and examined hundreds of patients on the spot. The doctors after giving their medical advice to patients also conducted some basic tests on the spot. The entire medical camp was closely coordinated by Amit Bagotra and Rajeev Verma besides Ex-Servicemen Medical Mela.

Yudhvir Sethi said that BJP is organising free medical and health check up camps in all three regions of Jammu and Kashmir State purely on humanitarian basis in which acclaimed and specialist doctors are giving their consultations free of cost. Yudhvir Sethi said large number of patients are utilising these services in all three regions of state at their doorsteps. ‘We intend to take these medical camps at district level wherein patients will be examined in cardiac, neurology and orthopaedic OPDs besides tests related to BP, sugar, BMD & ECG will also be conducted.

Earlier, at the inaugural event the traditional lamp was got lit by widows of soldiers as a mark of respect. Sethi said that this was a gesture that establishes our faith in our belt forces and to ensure them that nation stands by their families at this hour.
