BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Sh. Ashok Koul visited Hanuman Mandir and paid tribute to Mahant Saigram Das, who breathed his last breath on 16th December

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul visited Hanuman Mandir, Amira Kadal to pay tribute on the 17th day of death of Mahant Saigram Das, who breathed his last on 16th December.

On the occasion, Koul took part in the Hawan performed by Maha Mandleshwar president Jammu and Kashmir Vainsnivi Beragi Samiti, Sri Rameshwar Das and Mahanat Varinder Das Ji- Katra; Dr Mahant Satnarayan Das Ji.

Special prayers were also performed for the deceased Mahant Saigram Das, in which scores of spiritual Gurus and other people joined the ritual.

On this occasion, two newly Mahants were appointed by the Samiti. Mahant Kaneshwar Das, Mahant Ganeshwer Das were appointed.

Ashok Bhat, BJP District vice- president, Srinagar was also present on the occasion.

Special langer (feast) was also made available for the visitors in which many people from Muslim community participated.
