BJP will end discrimination with Rajouri-Poonch: Vibodh

Circular road for Muradpur inaugurated

Blaming the previous State and Central governments for the backwardness of Rajouri and Poonch districts, Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Vibodh Gupta on Monday promised to the people of the twin border district that the Prime Minister (PM) Narendera Modi led BJP Government in the Centre would come upto their expectations and it would create an era of development in the Jammu and Kashmir State.
Speaking during the inauguration function of the circular road in village Muradpur, MLC said that it is only the BJP which would end the decades’ old discrimination with the Rajouri and Poonch districts and the party is giving special attention towards the Pir Panchal region.
Terming the tenure of Modi led government as ‘golden period’, he asserted that the Rajouri and Poonch districts have a vast potential in every sector like industrial, tourism etc and the Central Government initiatives like ‘Make in India and Digital India’ can solve the problem of unemployment in the region to a great extent.
Vibodh further said that after coming to power in the State the BJP has implemented these programmes to its full extent and to every nook and corner of the State, especially to the areas which remained militancy infested and most backward in the State.
“The entire country is witnessing a huge transformation in all the sectors like power, healthcare, education, roads, bridges, tourism, horticulture and agriculture under the BJP leadership in the Centre for the last more about 20 months and BJP wants the similar development in J&K State to lead the people towards new frontiers of peace and prosperity,” he added.
