BJP Vice President Yudhvir Sethi today said that booth level workers are not only foot soldiers of party but are vital link between organisation and government who leave no stone unturned to percolate party’s programmes and policies amongst masses. These are the party workers who also stand as shield between people and negative propaganda launched by opposition.
Yudhvir Sethi was speaking at a booth level workers meet at Mathwar in Nagrota assembly Constituency today. Asking party workers to stay prepared for Panchayat polls, he said that this exercise will also prepare them for 2019 general elections. Like past, party workers especially those at booth level will have to put in double the efforts to register BJP’s victory with thumping majority.
Cautioning people from divisive forces who he alleged are out there to divide country on communal or regional lines, Yudhvir Sethi said recent victories of BJP in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh are testimony to the fact that country has made up its mind to not to hand over power into the hands of corrupt. BJP ruled states he added are delivering as per aspirations of people and this is for the first time that state like Jammu and Kashmir too is witnessing ever governance.
Nand Kishore, state executive member BJP in his address asked booth level workers to prepare themselves for Panchayat polls and said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi intends to decentralise powers only to ensure that people at grass root levels are made to participate in development works of their respective areas. He said that Panchayat elections will be followed by local bodies’ polls which in turn will pave way for establishing smart cities in Jammu and Srinagar.
Omi Khajurua, District President and Suresh Sharma co-incharge of the district who were also present on the occasion said that booh level workers have always stood by the party and its this force which disseminates party’s ideologies amongst masses. They said that its their patriotic zeal and a commitment towards people that is keeping them go on the right path and strengthen party at all levels. The function was organized by booth level committee and Mandal Pardhan Neelkanth.
Later, Yudhvir Sethi appreciated the role of booth level workers in every election and also asked them to gear up for coming panchyat elections with full throttle. It is because of this force that BJP is scaling new heights and winning over hearts of masses in entire country including Jammu and Kashmir State, he asserted. Also assured all possible help to them in strengthening organisation at all levels.
