Cashless transaction will ease currency flow: Manhas

Member Parliament Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh lauded the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi led NDA government at the centre for introducing the new means of cashless transactions which will ease the currency flow. He asked party workers to make people aware about the concept of ‘Cashless transaction’ and use of e-wallets.

MP (RS) Shamsher Singh Manhas while addressing awareness programme at Manhas Palace Paloura said after demonestization, central government has launched many mobile apps which would be used as ‘Mobile Wallet’ for any banking transaction and transfer the money anywhere without carrying currency notes in pocket. Manhas said the ‘Mobile Wallets’ will have a number of modes including ‘e-wallet’, ‘Unified Payments Interface’ (UPI), ‘Cards, PoS’ for Swiping, ‘Unstructured Supplementary Service Data’ (USSD) for linking Mobile No. to one’s bank account,  ‘Aadhar’ Enabled Payment System for funds transfer, Balance Enquiry, Cash Deposit or Withdrawal and Interbank transaction through Thump Impression.

MP also highlighted the achievement of Ujjawala Yojana started by Central government for the welfare of people. He said after the launch of Ujjawala Yojana, 5 lac people have been benefited from this scheme and government has set target of 40 lac for upcoming 3 years so that maximum people get benefit of this scheme. Manhas criticized the remarks of former chief minister Farooq Abdullah and said that some people after their ouster from power have lost their mental balance and to regain their lost ground giving confronting statements. He remind that this state was carved by Maharaja Gulab Singh and POK is part of the state and not part of other’s father. Those issuing anti-national statements should be booked under sedation charges. On this occasion Joginder Singh, Bahadur Singh, Kuldeep Magotra, Bharat Bushan Sharma, Kuldeep Raj, Uttam Singh, Sanjay Gupta, Lal Chand & prominent people of the area were also present in the programme.
