Channelize youth energy to earn name for the nation: Kavinder Gupta

Speaker J&K assembly and MLA, Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta today visited Bhour camp, Gadhi Garh,  Trikuta Nagar, Old Satwari, inaugurated and inspected various works.

He was accompanied by the SDM, South, Sonu Pargal; BDO, Satwari, A K Khajuria; Principal GHSS, Bhour Camp, Swaran lata Soni; Dr. Vinod Shastri, Pt. Ashok Khajuria and various political & social activists of the area.

The Speaker inaugurated the pathway at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Bhour Camp to be completed under the supervision of Rural Development Department(RDD) at an estimated cost of Rs. 5 Lakh INR and also attended a cultural program where students performed various inspirational stage shows.

The School staff put forth various demands pertaining to the welfare of the students viz playground, proper supply of drinking water, repairing of the damaged boundary wall and expansion of the examination hall for the school.

While addressing the staff and students of the school, the speaker said that the role of the teachers is not just of providing the theoretical knowledge to the students but to channelize their energy in a positive way so that these young buddies can grow up to earn a name not only for themselves or their family but for the whole nation.

Stressing on the need for providing improved infrastructure for the students to perform and compete better, he announced a cricket kit for the school along with a water cooler out of his Constituency Development Fund(CDF) and said that their other demands will also be taken up on priority.

He also inspected the ongoing development works in various areas of Gandhi Nagar constituency and directed the concerned department to complete these works well within time without compromising with the quality.

The Speaker informed the people that the camps for Aadhaar card will be organized for three to four successive Sundays in the month of November starting from the 6th of November 2016, at his Gandhi Nagar office and urged them to actively participate in the same and mobilize people so that maximum people of the constituency can be benefited.

Later in the day, he inaugurated the closing ceremony of hockey tournament organized at Bhargav Academy School, Gadhi Garh and distributed prizes among the players. Baldev Billoria, Pt. Ashok Khajuria, Vikas Sharma, Vinay Gupta, Vijay Sharma, Pitamber Sharma were prominent among others who attended the program.
