“Sawach Bharat Abhiyaan launched in Ambedkar Park Rajouri”
Carrying forward the mission of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi for a clean and green India under the banner of nationwide launched Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Rajouri Urban Mandal of BJP today organized a cleanliness cum plantation drive in Ambedkar Part of Rajouri town near Salani bridge.
Drive was kick started by MLC Vibodh Gupta in presence of Vice Chairman of State Pahari Advisory Board Kuldeep Raj Gupta and other senior leaders of party, officers from Municipal Committee Rajouri and Forest Department and chairperson of Ambedkar Committee Rajouri.
During this drive, the whole area of the park was cleaned and than a number of new saplings were planted.
Addressing the gathering, VC Pahari Advisory Board Kuldeep Raj Gupta while appreciating the effort said that a forestation is one of the burning need of the hour and increase in green gold cover is an important need to tackle different kinds of environment issues.
Addressing the gathering, BJP District President Dinesh Sharma said that BJP has decided to hold more such plantation drivers and cleanliness drives under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan so as to help Prime Minister in fulfilling his dream.
Later addressing the programme, MLC VIbodh Gupta said that his aim is for a clean and green Rajouri town which will only be achieved with the help of all the sections of society.
” From plantation drives as well as to cleanliness drives, we need to take up all the required steps for a clean and green Rajouri ” Vibodh said.
He also appealed all the private educational institutions to adopt some abandon areas and to plant new saplings there so as to increase the green cover of Rajouri.
Vibodh also said that new initiative taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the name of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is showing its result as a large number of people are getting associated with it.
” People of Rajouri are showing a rich communal fabric which has defeated the communal and anti social forces which always try to disturb the peaceful atmosphere in the area ” Vibodh further said.
Senior chairperson of Ambedkar Committee Rajouri including Badri Nath and Mohinder Pal hailed the efforts by MLA Vibodh Gupta and other party leaders in holding cleanliness drive in Ambedkar park Rajouri.
