Coming Panchyat Election a Great Opportunity to Boost Current Development Momentum: Vibodh

Party Leaders Gearing Up for the Forthcoming Panchyat Elections
In order to take stock of the various preparations as a run up to the forthcoming Panchyat election toady a review meeting by the BJP party leaders of Rajouri district was held at Dak Bunglow Rajouri. The meeting was attended by all the senior leaders of the party and was chaired by MLC Vibodh Gupta. During the meeting threadbare discussions were held on various issues related to the recent delimitation process of various Panchyats of Rajouri. It was agreed that all the issues related to neglect of some areas will be raised at appropriate party and Government forums. Addressing the party leaders Vibodh said that it is a matter of great satisfaction that Panchyat Elections are being held in the state. This he said is the need of the hour as soon ground level democratic institutions in the form of Panchyats will be in place in every nook and corner of the state. These institutions have tremendous role in further boosting the developmental momentum which has been created by the current Governments at the state as well as at the centre. He called upon the party leaders to fully gear up for the forthcoming elections as good frequency between the Panchyat representatives and the representatives of the state Governmental will ensure overall development of our neglected villages. He further added that all the party leaders and workers should see this as a great opportunity to work for the weaker sections of our society.

BJP district president Dinesh Sharma also addressed the gathering and during his address he stressed on the need to educate the common masses about a large number of welfare measures for the remote areas and villages currently under way. Good Panchyats through good representatives can all togather give a new Governance model to the state, Sharma added. He further added that the massive participation of party leaders in today’s meeting is a clear signal about the highest importance which the party workers and leaders are attaching to the forthcoming Panchyat elections. BJP senior leader Bharat Bhushan Vaid also addressed the gathering. In his address he said that every body must realize the great potential which Panchyats have and good Panchyats can result in transformation of our villages. Moreover, the present state and central Governments are ideally positioned to work neck to neck with the new Panchyats through their various people welfare policies and programmes. Prominent among others who were present in the meeting included Kamal Bakshi, Koshal Gupta, Asif Choudhary, Sanjay Sharma, Talib Mir, Ranjeet Tara, Jahid Ahmad, Bodh Raj and Rakesh Sharma.
