Leader of BJP Legislative Party and former Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh today announced a Community Facilitation centre worth Rs. 35 lakh at Village Mela, meeting a long pending demand of the residents of the area.
He also announced that CDF provided for leveling of play ground at Mela and instructed the concerned officers to identify the land for the construction of CFG.
Addressing a meeting at Village Mela in district Kathua, Dr Nirmal Singh said that PDP-BJP coalition government’s 10 months rule has proved that good and corruption free governance with a focus on peace, prosperity and development can be provided in the state. He said that our government fulfilled the commitment of Prime Minister Narendra Bhai Modi of ‘Sabka Saath Aur Sabka Vikas’ and good governance and it was for the first time in the 67 years old history of the state of Jammu and Kashmir that Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh were treated at par.
“Not even a single case of corruption by the Ministers/MLAs of the coalition government was reported and the development initiatives including AIIMS, IIT, IIM, IIMC, Express highways etc. were launched in the state within a short span of ten months,” said Dr. Nirmal Singh. The meeting was organized by Kandi Mandal of BJP.
While highlighting the achievements of the BJP-PDP coalition government, Dr. Nirmal Singh said that during its short span in power, Government fast tracked the development projects worth Rs. 200 Crore in Billawar constituency. He said that to root out the corruption from the body politic of the state, 63 corrupt, deadwood officials were given premature retirement which sent a clear message down the line that corruption would not be tolerated in the BJP-PDP coalition government. He listed the achievements of BJP including starting work on IIT campus, AIIMS, IIM, IIMC for Jammu. She asked the party workers to spread the message of BJP governments achievements to the grass root level and get ready of Panchayat and Urban Bodies elections.
