Equitable development will strengthen social fabric: Manhas

Member Parliament Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh Manhas reiterated that development work in state would be executed on fast track basis. He said Prime Minister Narinder Modi is taking keen interest to develop Jammu and Kashmir on modern lines. Manhas today laid foundation stone of Community Hall near Ravi Dass temple at Ward No 60 at Paloura, on Wednesday.
Manhas today laid the foundation stone of Community hall near Ravi Dass temple at Ward no 60 at Paloura on Wednesday. The estimated cost of the community hall is Rs 17.85 lakh and this community hall would be completed in two months. After laying the foundation stone, Manhas said that BJP is committed for the upliftment of the society and strengthening the social febric by providing equitable development. He said this construction of hall will cater the basic requirement of economically weaker section of the society .
Manhas reiterated that he is committed for overall development of state. He said that many development works have been started and utilized funds for people’s welfare. He said Prime Minister Narinder Bhai Modi has started many welfare schemes for people of India. He asked people of state to join hands for development and social upliftment of society and without people’s supports he alone cannot fulfill the aspirations of people of Jammu province.
He said state government too has initiated many development works and schemes. He asked the people to get benefit of the welfare schemes started by the Central and state government. Govt has initiated many ways to make people aware about the schemes so that maximum people can avail be benefit. Manhas said recently a 3 day exhibition Jammu and Kashmir vision 2017 has been organized for awareness among the masses where many stalls provided the detail information about the schemes and programmes launched by the central government.
Rajya Sabha MP said that he will come to the expectations of people and tried his best to remain available to redress the grievances of people of Jammu region. Prominent people of Paloura also spoke on this occasion and thanked Member Parliament (RS) for his laudable efforts for development activities. On this occasion Xen JMC Parmodh Sharma, Bahadur Singh Manhas, Ashok Chib, Joginder Singh, Ex Sarpanch Balbir Singh, ………prominent people of area were also present.
