Female child is no burden in Modi era: Jugal

BJP Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma, while addressing massive gatherings under “Vikas Parv” programmes organized by Jammu West and Jammu District at Kachi Chawni and Gangyal respectively, said that the two years rule of Narendra Modi led NDA government has proved to be a golden period in post independent India. He said that not even a single case of corruption has taken place and more than 52 schemes have been launched during this period, with focus on women, youth, farmers, weaker sections, border people, senior citizens, besides initiating a large number of developmental projects. “Narendra Modi government has taken initiatives to ensure the social and economic upliftment of females by launching exclusive welfare schemes for them and today a female child is not considered burden on parents”, Jugal said and added that Beti Bachao Beti Padao, Sukanya Smridhi Yojana, Ujwala, construction of toilets for girl students in schools are central schmes for females while PDP-BJP coalition has launched Ladli Beti, Hunar, Himayat, Skill Development for self employment of females.
“Modi government has launched Mudra Bank Yojana, PM Fasal Beema Yojana, Atal Pension Scheme, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Make in India, Start up, Stand up, Skill India, Jan Dhan Yojana, Digital India, Soil Health Card Scheme etc. are schemes which are being extended across the country.
Jugal said that in Jammu & Kashmir construction of new bridges, expansion & modernization of Jammu Railway station, extending rail link to Rajouri and Poonch districts, four laning of Jammu-Akhnoor road, inclusion of Jammu to Poonch road under National Highway, setting up of Medical Colleges in districts etc. are the gifts of Modi government”. He expressed hope that the welfare schemes and development projects will bring progress and prosperity.
BJP State Secretary Sanjay Baru stressed upon the party activists to devote more time and reach the public to make them familiar with the achievements of Modi government.

Jammu West District Prabhari Jugal Kishore Gupta, District Presidents Ayodhya Gupta and Baldev Singh Billowria also addressed the gathering.
District General Secretaries Vinay Gupta and Sanjeev Sharma conducted the proceedings.
Meanwhile, State General Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh addressed similar programme at Samba and State General Secretary Pawan Khajuria addressed at Udhampur.
The party leaders and activists organized ‘Vikas Parv’ programme in their respective districts in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
