On the third day of its commencement, the BJP “Jan Sampark Yatra”, led by senior party leaders, further covered more Panchayats in different areas of Rajouri.
Addressing the gatherings at Doongi,Keri,Saslkote,Muradpur Sawani, Bathuni,MLC Vibodh Gupta said that the party has decided to take out ‘Jan Sampark Yatra’ to reach out to each and every household in the rural areas of the state to highlight the achievements of BJP Government at the Centre and state and also to promote the welfare schemes announced in the budget.
Gupta gives details of the various schemes launched by centre government for farmers. He spoke at length about the soil health cards introduced by the govt., the decision to modernise fertiliser plants and the move to coat urea with neem so that the fertiliser cannot be stolen for use in chemical factories.
Counting government’s achievements during yatra, Gupta also showcased various flagship programme like– Swachch Bharat – as part of his commitment to the welfare of the poor, especially women and children. Reiterating government plans to construct toilets in every home in rural areas.
Gupta further said that centre government launched many social security schemes like the Jan Dhan Yojana and the Atal Pension Yojana for rural people and said his government was not acting in the interests of the corporate sector. “My government’s schemes are for the poor and not rich industrialists.,” he said.
Gupta, while interacting with the locals, assured them that the government is well aware with their problems and demands and is working hard to ensure better facility with improved basic services. He asked the people to actively participate in development works being executed in their respective areas for effective outcome.
Senior BJP leader Choudhary Talib Hussain also addressed the gatherings and expressed his concern over the process of delimitation of Panchayats by RDD officers and said that state government must order an independent probe by a magistrate or any commission. He also appeals to people to comeout of their homes in large numbers and vote for clean candidates in coming panchayati elections.

Former MC president Rajinder Gupta ask workers to prepare for coming Panchayat elections. He impressed upon workers to disseminate the benefits of central government schemes among public and request for support from them on the basis of performance done by the government.
Prominent among others who were part of this Jan Sampark Yatra included Bharat Bhusahn Vaid, Kamal Bakshi, Sanjay Dutt,Sanjay Sharma Asif Choudhary, Yashpal Sharma,Pashori lal,Bodh Raj,Ranjeet Tara and Gulshan Sharma.
