Govt launches new schemes for welfare of minorities: Sakina

The union ministry of Minority Community Affairs has launched many schemes for the welfare of minorities in Jammu and Kashmir, this is right time for the people to take benefits of that schemes.
This was informed by Sakina Bano, coordinator, Jammu region, J&K state, Union Ministry of community affairs during a meeting held here today.
Highlighting the schemes, Sakina said that among these schemes some are Nai Manzil, Padho Padao, Maulana Azad National fellowship, Free coaching and allied scheme, Seekho aur Kamao, Maulana Azad National Academy for Skill, Ustad, Nai Roshni and many other schemes in the field of education.
Day one after assuming the charge of Prime Minister Narendera Modi launched many schemes for the welfare of people belonged from minority communities. He further issued instructions to the minister concerned for minority community Nazma Heptulla for giving more attention to the people of these communities so that they also can prosper and have some better living as compared to the lives of other communities in our country.
While lauding the role of MoS PMO Dr Jitendra Singh, she said, it is only due to the efforts of Dr Singh that the union ministry has given more attention to the J&K state.
In addition of these demands, people of Jammu and Kashmir are suffering baldly due to a large number of pending cases of Widow Pension, Old age pension and enhancement in their pensions.
She further urged upon the government to launch more schemes for the welfare of senior citizen, so that they can have a better living in their old days of their life.
