Jammu East MLA and Chief Whip of BJP in the assembly Rajesh Gupta toured Indira Chowk Vegetable Market along with JMC commissioner Dr.Manmohan Singh and Joint Comissioner Khushal Chand and Xen Joginder Bhagat .
The members of various associations were also present on the ocassion to welcome the honourable MLA .
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the ocassion gave a proposal for the building of a shopping complex and underground parking.Rajesh Gupta said that it’s a prime location and once a shopping complex is built here it would boost the economy of the state and also generate a lot of employment. Once such proposals are worked upon it would further lead our city in line for the smart city tag.
The Comissioner JMC have his instant consent and said that he and his team would explore every possible avenue for this project.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the ocassion said that the development of businesses would lead to employment generation and that would lead to the development of the economy. We have to keep on achieving higher and higher growth rates in order to eradicate poverty completely from our country.If we keep on achieving growth rate in excess of 8 percent for next 10 years India would be the 3rd largest economy in dollar terms and on PPP basis India is already the 3rd largest economy in the world.
