Government High school Pull Tawi, Zone Gandhi Nagar, Jammu organized Swachta- Hi -Sewa (Pakhwada) under Swach Bharat Mission and in the said rally approximately 300 students of the School has participated. During the said campaign Hon’ble M.L.A East Shri Rajesh Gupta was the Chief Guest and Dr. Zaffar Iqbal Expert SLRM District Jammu was as a special Guest of Honour on the occasion.
The Hon’ble MLA East has flagged the rally from the School Premises towards Ware House Market, Vikram Chowk and finally at Bikram Chowk all the students and other participants assembled and the Hon’ble MLA (East) Shri Rajesh Gupta during his speech to the gathering said that the Mission started by Hon’ble Prime Minster of India is very fruitful and it is the duty of all citizen to make it success by take part in Swachta- Hi -Sewa in their locality for good environment and also advised to put garbage into the dust bin and finally shift it to the dust bin kept by the Jammu Municipal Corporation for its final disposal and also said to cooperative with the JMC for the healthy environment and free of health hazards. Speaking on the occasion Hon’ble MLA laid the emphasis on the cleanliness campaign which is the immediate need of the society and can be made possible only through community participation, the mantra of the house is “ Cleanliness is next to Godliness.”
Dr. Zaffar Iqbal Expert SLRM District Jammu during his lecture emphasis that how the household waste can be managed sustainably by the society itself which is only possible with the involvement of community and also explained to the students how the waste can be managed by organic and inorganic at household level and even the money can be earned by organic material can be converted into compost and inorganic material can be sold at house hold level besides the composting can be used in our plants at hold house level.
The students has taken part in Nuked on the occasion the theme is Swachhata- Hi –Sewa and Hon’ble MLA East has appreciated the role of the students for taking part for the future of the of the India and also appreciated the lecture put forth by Dr. Zafar Iqbal on the occasion.
The Chief Guest also appreciated the role of Sunita Gupta Head master of the School for taking keen interest in such mission of Swachhata- Hi –Sewa. In the end Headmaster of the School thanks all the participated
