Jugal announces 5 lakh compensation for Pak shelling victim

Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, while expressing grief and sorrow over the killing of a young boy by shelling from Pakistan in Gigrial village of Khour Block falling in Chammb Assembly Constituency, said that although the loss of precious life is irreparable and no money can on earth can ever bring back the person but still some compensation can prove to be helpful for the bereaved family.

Jugal Kishore Sharma, soon after getting the news of the killing of this young boy, took up matter with the Union Home Ministry besides Divisional Commissioner and DC Jammu and got immediate order for the release of compensation of rupees five lakh to the family of the deceased boy.

Jugal Kishore Sharma informed that Narendra Modi government at the centre has already approved compensation of rupees five lakh for any civilian who gets killed in firing from across the border and it is in this context that the family of Gigrial boy is to be compensated in next few days.

Meanwhile, the local MLA of BJP Krishan Lal Bhagat, who visited the bereaved family, confirmed that the case for the compensation has been approved within hours by the immediate intervention of the MP and the formal cheque will be handed over soon.
