Let the people decide, BJP rebuts opposition criticism

The opposition has been rattled by the growing graph of BJP not only in J&K but entire country which is visible from the unprecedented growth of the party. Shaken by the massive response of the people to the welfare oriented schemes and development projects undertaken, the opposition has resorted to its old trick of fabricated and baseless statements to mislead the public, said Brig Anil Gupta, State Spokesperson, while addressing a Press Conference at the Party Headquarter today. Taking a serious note of the opposition’s allegation that BJP has done nothing for the Jammu region and has failed to carry out any development, Brig Gupta said that the opposition needs to shed its coloured vision and accept the ground realities. As far as tourism is concerned more than 20 projects are in hand to make Jammu an independent tourist destination.
Those questioning the intent of BJP need to ask the youth that has benefitted from Mudra Yojna or ask the poor women who have benefitted from Ujwala Scheme, ask the villagers whose villages have been electrified or have been provided road connectivity for the first time since independence retorted Brig Gupta. It is the public which will decide sincerity of BJP and not disgruntled, defeated leaders who have been rejected by the people by huge mandate against them, the spokesperson reminded to the opposition. Brig Gupta said that BJP is the only party which is committed to the people of Jammu and has carried out record development in two years in all parts of Jammu region which has surpassed the opposition’s performance of last 40 years.
