Modi govt concerned for welfare of dalits: Sat

BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma, while addressing a meeting of BJP Anusuchit Jaati Morcha, said that various welfare schemes launched by Narendra Modi government are proving beneficial to the Scheduled Castes across the country and the same are also being extended to the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It displays the concern of Modi led government towards the welfare of dalits. He said that although Congress ruled the country for maximum period after independence but it did least for the welfare and development of the weaker sections, including dalits and down trodden. He said that SCs in Jammu & Kashmir have supported BJP candidates in reserved constituencies and we won all the seven seats. He said that the BJP has constituted. Anusuchit Jaati Morcha with a sole objective of providing the SC leaders in the party a respectable platform to highlight the problems of their community.

BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, on this occasion, said that the party has the distinction of being the only political party in the country which has largest number of MPs and MLAs across the country from this community and it is due to the inclination of the SCs towards BJP who have realized that their welfare lies in getting associated this party.

Morcha State Prabhari Dharam Pal Rao sought details related to the programmes being undertaken by the Anusuchit Jaati Morcha in the state. He said that Jammu region has a major population of SCs and it becomes imperative on part of the morcha leaders to remain in regular touch with the members of this community and educate them about various welfare schemes launched exclusively for them.

MLA Dr. Devinder Manyal said that after taking over as State President of BJP Anusuchit Jaati Morcha, every effort has been made to ensure that our morcha leaders reach the people of SC community and brief them about the SC friendly programmes and policies of the Modi led Central government and the BJP coalition in the state. He said that whatever has been initiated during the last over two years by NDA government itself speaks that the Modi government has pain and commitment for the social and economic upliftment of the poor and weaker sections, dalits in particular.

SC Morcha Prabhari Bansi Lal Bharti, Seh-Prabhari N.D. Rajwal, State General Secretary Dr. M.L. Rao and other office bearers including Seema Devi, Jeet Angral, Raj Kumar, Faqir Chand, Shiv Kumar Manyal, MLA Dr. K.L. Bhagat, Kuldeep Raj, MLA Neelam Lengeh, Chaman Lal Kanathia, Karan Bhagat, Veena Bhagat, Sharda Devi, Charanjeet, Brij Lal, Rakesh Sangral, Bishan Dass, Dharam Pal, Gian Chand Bhagat, Vijay Magotra, Neeraj Bharti, Adv.
