One day State Working Committee Meeting of BJP at Rajouri

Ahead of the one day State Working Committee Meeting of BJP scheduled for Sunday, party State Office Bearers and Morcha Presidents held a meeting at Rajouri, which commenced with the lighting of traditional lamp by State President & MLA Sat Sharma, Dy. Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh, Union MoS Dr. Jitendra Singh, Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, MLC Ashok Khajuria and State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul.

Sat Sharma, while speaking on the last three months’ developments, said that the BJP has recognized the contribution of Ramnath Kovind towards the party and honoured him with the post of President of Republic of India. The adoption of GST in the State is a milestone decision aimed at introducing one nation, one tax, one market concept. NIA’s action on separatists displays Union government’s resolve to not spare all such elements who are responsible for creating turmoil in valley. He said that the over 1600 vistaraks have voluntarily offered themselves to work for the party, which will further strengthen BJP at the booths level across the state.

Dr. Nirmal Singh, on this occasion, said that BJP has a healthy practice of holding regular meetings at National, State, District and Mandal levels, which provides an opportunity to the party office bearers at these levels to have interaction with the leadership and also get acquainted with the political and organizational decisions and activities taken by the party.

Dr. Jitendra Singh, while speaking on the occasion, congratulated the activists of Rajouri for their continuous contribution towards the cause of the Nation in the fragile atmosphere by the naughty neighbour. He spoke about the success of Alp-Vistarak programme by the party. He said that the matter of Jammu & Kashmir is the cause of concern for whole of India. He said that negating the anti-incumbency thesis, BJP has started a new work culture which is totally corporate culture among the politicians of India and now every leader has to be ready for the public 24 hours, 7 days, following the footsteps of our hardworking Prime Minister.

Ashok Koul, while speaking on the organizational set up of the party, said that a well knit system at the lowest level is the key for success of any organization and the BJP is pride to be the only political party in the country which is cadre based with world’s largest number of its members spread over entire country.

The meeting also discussed the political resolution to be tabled in the State Working Committee Meeting.
