Pathania kickstarts macadamization work of roads in Ramnagar

Fulfilling the long pending demand of residents of Ramnagar town, Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA Ramnagar, today kick started macadamization work of various roads and lanes of the Ramnagar town at an estimated cost of around Rs 2.00 crores. Pathania said that it was a long pending demand and keeping in view the needs and requirements of the masses, the macdamisation work is taken up in order to provide services to the public. The major roads, where macdamisation and tar coal laying has been taken up, are Shri Narsingh Ji Temple- Bus stand Road, BDO office to Bus Stand Road, Ghass Mandi Road, Circular road around SubDistrict Hospital Ramnagar, Main Bazar Ramnagar, ChigliChowri to Khein-Bein Road besides other lanes of the town which facelift and beautify the town. Speaking on the occasion, Pathania said that the macdamisation work could not be taken up earlier due to adverse cold climatic conditions which were technically not suitable for laying bitumen and tarcoal. He said that quality and durability will be the hall mark of this work and stressed upon the concerned contractor and department not to compromise on the quality of the work. He further informed that 3-inch Bitumen laying work will be taken up which will have repair/replacement guarantee of three years. On the occasion he further announced that bitumen-laying work on Ramnagar -Johnu Road (Km 1-6) and Chowki-Dalsar road (Km. 1-3) at an cost of Rs. 2.5 crores, is going to be started very soon. He further announced that work on development of state of arts sports stadium at Raja Ram Singh Stadium will also be taken up shortly which will have facilities for indoor as well as outdoor games. Among those present on the occasion, included Rajinder Sharma, Sham Lal, Rakesh Kumar, Master Raj Gopal Kalsotra, Ranjeet, Sumit Gupta, Vijay Kumar, Raghvir Sharma, Shounku Ram, Sachin, Rameshwar Gupta and others.
