MLA and Chief Whip of BJP in the assembly Rajesh Gupta inaugurated the black topping of roads in ward no.19 of Qasim Nagar in Jammu.
The work is estimated to cost rupees 8 lakhs and would be undertaken under the supervision of PWD.
Rajesh Gupta was accompanied by a large number of people including PWD officials,local residents of the area and many social and political activists.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that providing the best facilities to the residents of the constituency is his utmost priority.He laid stress on providing every possible service at the doorstep.
Rajesh Gupta also appreciated the efforts of the PWD(R&B) department for having initiated the works and said that the officials of the department need to ensure that the quality of work done is of the highest standards and no sub standard materials are used for the works.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that Jammu east is moving in a progressive manner and soon its example would be given as the Model Constituencies of the state.
