In the Roller Skating Championship the final match was played between Roller Athletics Skating Club v/s Ediction Skating Club today.The final match was won by Ediction Skating Club by 5/3.
MLA Jammu east Rajesh Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion in the tournament organised by J&K Roller Skating Association at Peer Kho Skating Ring.
The prominent who accompanied the MLA included Parduman Singh,Ashok Khajuria,Vikas Sharma,Prof.Shyam,Kuldeep Kandhari,Rajinder Gupta.
The prominent members of the Roller Skating Association who were present on the ocassion included G.S.Khurmi,P.P.Singh,Arya Veer Singh,Jugraj Singh,Roshan Lal,Kamal Anand and Chaman Lal.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the ocassion said that sports build’s character and discipline in our younger generation and we must encourage our youth to take to sports in a big way.He said that Roller Skating is a wonderful sport and helps to develop concentration and team spirit and keeps younger generations away from the menace of drugs and bad habits.
