Sat approves 8.64 lakh for bathing ghat

BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma (C.A), while announcing the approval of rupees 8.64 lakh for the construction of Bathing Ghats in the premises of Mahasha Biradari Community Hall in Ward No. 16, handed over the related letter to BJYM State Vice-President Ajay Vaid in presence of BJP senior leader N.D. Rajwal and Ward President Onkar Singh.

Sat Sharma, on this occasion, said that community halls are meant to serve the public for different religious and social rituals and need to be equipped with the facilities of convenience having proper electricity and drinking water. He said that the Bathing Ghats in such places are meant to benefit the women in particularly. He said that the site for the construction of Bathing Ghat was finalized few weeks ago when he alongwith MP Jugal Kishore Sharma had visited the Mahasha Biradari Community Hall. He said that within limited funds, every effort is made to ensure that the public demands related to development are fulfilled.

Ajay Vaid, on this occasion, expressed gratitude to the MLA for contributing in construction of Bathing Ghat, which will serve the public of the area. He said that a number of development projects have been started by the sitting MLA in different wards of Jammu West Assembly constituency and the people are highly appreciating the same.

Onkar Singh said that the construction of Bathing Ghat was a long pending demand, which is soon giving to be fulfilled.
