Sat, Jugal, visit borders, camps of displaced people

BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma and Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, along with MLA Ravinder Raina, MLC Vibodh Gupta and Nowshera-Sunderbani BJP District President Capt. Som Dutt Sharma, visited  border displaced people camps at Government Higher Secondary School, Kaliday, Kalsian, Sear, Thanger border to interact with the displaced people and also addressed  public meetings at Nangyal village, Sunderbani and Nowshera besides meeting prominent leaders and citizens.

During their visits to border areas and camps, BJP leaders took stock of the amenities being provided to them as also the steps being undertaken to ensure the provision of health and educational facilities in their camps.

Sat Sharma, while addressing public meetings and interacting with the displaced families, said that it is very unfortunate that India has, time and again, extended a hand of friendship towards Pakistan as our country want peaceful co-existence but our neighbor always adopts double standards.

“Our offer of peace is taken as sign of weakness but the present government at the centre is very clear that talks and bullets cannot go together”, said Sat Sharma and added that our army and security forces have been authorized to retaliate in the appropriate manner and the morale of our brave jawans is very high. He said that the BJP stands with the border displaced people and is concerned for their safety and security.

Jugal Kishore Sharma said that since the day first when Pakistan started firing on our border villages after surgical strikes by Indian army on terrorists launching pads across LoC, there is regular monitoring of the situation on borders by the Government of India.

“Being MP from the area, I have been regularly visiting my people putting up in camps and every effort is made to ensure that no one displaced by firing is made to suffer and the local administration has been  put on round the clock alert to remain at the back and call of the border people”, Jugal said and expressed hope that the situation will soon become normal with conducive atmosphere for the early return of the displaced people to their respective villages.

Ravinder Raina and Vibodh Gupta also addressed the public meetings and assured that they need not to feel alone as 125 crore Indians are with them.

SDM Harbans Lal, Tehsildar Vijay Kumar, BDO Dr. Sahil, BJP District General Secretary Mool Raj, Mandal President Sanjay Kumar, Ashok Kumar Verma, BJYM District President Sham Mehra, MM Babbu and Anu Bhasin also accompanied the BJP leaders.
