In an impressive function held at the state office of Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma CA, launched a woollen wall hanging carpet with a portrait of Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi. The unique wall hanging carpet has been specially designed and woven by a local carpet making company Shalimar Floorings Ltd, Bari Brahmana. It is dedicated to the special interest being taken by Modi Government for revival of carpet industry in the state and was handed over to Sat Sharma by Rakesh Bhat, Managing Director of Shalimar Floorings Ltd. The wall hanging measuring 3’x2’ is made from fine yarn and has been woven with the state of art technology.
Sat Sharma complimented Rakesh Bhat for the exclusive design and for appreciating the good works of Modi Govt. Annil Suri, Ex-President of Bari Brahmana Industrial Association also accompanied Bhat. Both of them also discussed various issues related to the local industry, particularly the cross-LOC trade, implementation of GST and continuation of incentives to the local industry.
Sat Sharma assured them that the present BJP coalition government in the State is determined to promote and encourage the local industry and he would raise these issues with the concerned ministries in the State and Centre.
Rakesh Bhat while thanking Sat Sharma and the Party, made special reference of Brig Anil Gupta, State Spokesperson, who motivated him to design and weave this unique wall hanging carpet.
