Sat, Nirmal, Jugal address public at Poonch

The border town of Poonch witnessed a massive gathering in a Public Rally held at KC Park in the city, organized by BJP Poonch District President Bansi Lal. It was addressed by BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh, Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Prakash Ganga, VCs of Boards, State Office Bearers, MLCs and local leaders. Sat Sharma, while addressing the rally, said that organizationally BJP has its reach in every corner and segment of the state. Every MP, MLA and MLC has been assigned duties at district/constituency / mandal level for the public convenience and to help the people in mitigating their problems. More than 100 welfare schemes launched so far by the PM are meant for the welfare and progress of every segment of the society and for every region.
“The recent appeal by PM Modi to surrender subsidy of LPG by the creamy population and subsequent reach of LPG to every home under Ujjawala Yojna is a grand success,” Sat said and added that Kissan Card for the welfare of farmers, Digital India, Skill Development Scheme for the young population, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna, Mudra Bank Yojna, Pradhan Mantri Jeeven Bima yojna, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Yojna, Atal Pension Scheme, Udaan Project, Make In India, Swacch Bharat are few of the many schemes for the welfare of the public. These schemes are comprehensive and need to be popularized amongst the people so that the purpose is achieved. The aim of the BJP is Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas and the volunteer of the largest organization of the world work with the principle of providing benefit to the last person standing in the last row of the society. He said that the BJP has given representation to Poonch in the council and it is expected that Pardeep Sharma will work to fulfil their aspirations.
Dr. Nirmal Singh, in his address, said that Narendra Modi Government at the Centre is fully supporting the State government in matter related to development and bringing peace. Drawing a parallel with the statement of the Modi that he is the Pradhan Sevak of 125 crore people of India, Dr. Nirmal Singh said that we in the state of J&K are servers of the people of every region and religion. Our government in the state during the last two years has crossed many milestones and have setup very high bench marks of progress. Condemning the barbarism of Pakistan in the mutilating the bodies of the Indian soldiers, Dr. Nirmal Singh said that Pakistan by its violation of ceasefire is subjecting the border people to great hardships and sufferings. He assured the border people of the government’s support and help. He also announced allocation of 29 crore rupees for laying of 33 kv power line between Chandak to Draba which was damaged due to floods of 2014. He further announced grant of 25 lakh rupees in addition to 18 lakh rupees already granted to the Poonch Municipality and also integrated power development programme.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that we are raising our voice at all levels and forums of the Central government highlighting the needs and requirements of the state, even upto the Tehsil level so that approvals and funds are made available for the development to the state government. The Central government is always forthcoming for the special needs of the state. The stray incidents of violence in the Valley are only meant to divert the attention of the state as well as the Central government from the task of development and progress of the state but the nefarious aims of anti-national elements will not succeed.
Chander Prakash Ganga said that the state government has made significant improvements in the industrial policy which would help the industry to develop not only in cities like Jammu and Srinagar but also in small places like Poonch. The present BJP-PDP coalition government is totally focussed on the industrial development in the State of J&K so that the local unemployment problem gets addressed to. He assured the public of Poonch that any suggestion to improve the industrial growth there would be favourably considered.
Earlier, the party leaders garlanded the statue of Krishan Chand, in whose memory the park is named as KC Park.
