Sat reviews current political activities

BJP State President Sat Sharma, along with MLC Ashok Khajuria and State General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul, chaired a meeting of State Office Bearers to review the ongoing Booth level “Jan Vishwas Yatra” and received the feedback related to the public response as well as the suggestions for accelerating the activities to mobilise public support for the party.

Sat Sharma, while addressing the meeting, said that BJP is the only political party which always remain in public, as politics is a mean for our cadre to serve the people and work for strengthening the nationalist forces. He said that BJP was in government for ten months in the state and it is at the centre for almost two years now and during these periods a lot of developmental activities and welfare schemes have been launched. “The objective of organising “Vikas Sushasan Sankalp Rallies” and now “Jan Vishwas Yatra” is to directly reach the people and brief them about these projects and schemes. He expressed satisfaction over the reporting from various mandals.
Sat Sharma said that the atmosphere is very conducive for BJP and the people are once again going to defeat NC, Congress and other parties in ULB and Panchayat elections, who have been exposed time and again for ignoring the interests of the common people and are now shedding crocodile tears for empowering democracy at grass root levels.
Ashok Khajuria said that that it was the leaders of previous ruling parties, who did not favour to conduct the ULB and Panchayat elections in state on time, due to which the state was deprived of funds to the tune of hundreds of crores, which were to used for developmental works through these democratic institutions. He also expressed concern over the discrepancies in the voter lists and urged upon the concerned authorities to immediately look into the matter.
Ashok Kaul said that in a single day 37 leaders of the party had reached 81 mandals and covered 70 per cent booths while leading “Jan Vishwas Yatra” across the state and said that it is due to well knit organizational setup of the party. He said that during these rallies, BJP succeeded in convincing the people about the development, good governance and corruption free administration during the ten month rule of BJP while in coalition in the state.
