Sat Sharma starts macdamization works at Ward 25

Fufiling the basic needs of residents of Jammu West Assembly segment, State President BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) kickstarted macdamization works of Lane at Vikram Nagar area of Ward Number 25. A large number of people including local residents and political activists were also present on the occasion .
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it was a long pending demand of he residents of Vikram Nagar which was due from many years and keeping in view the needs and requirements of the masses, the work is taken up in order to provide services to the masses at their doorsteps.
He stated that already works costing more than Rupees 29 lakhs have been approved by JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation) for taking up works of Lanes, Drains and other Municipal works in Ward 25 and it will be seen that these works are started and completed in a time bound period.
He also stated that he has directed the concerned officials of ERA to complete the works of laying new water pipes in Jammu West so that in summer season no problem concerning water persists in the Constituency and all remaining roads which are not Black Topped or macadamized yet will also be taken up soon so that by summer season all roads are resurfaced properly.
He also directed the ERA officials to take up the works of laying new water pipes in area of Rehari Colony where leakage of old pipes is existing in some areas.
In between the program, Munish Raja, who left the party sometime back and joined PDP again joined BJP in the presence of State President along with dozens of his supporters.
The residents of Vikram Nagar also thanked the MLA for completing their long pending demand.
