Sat Sharma starts macdamization works of  Sarwal road

Promoting his vision to develop Jammu West as a model Contituency, State President BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) started the macdamization works at Sarwal main road, near Muslim graveyard falling under Ward 18 and 25 of the Assembly segment. The stretch which will be covered under the same includes Sarwal road starting from graveyard and a stretch of almost 200 metres is covered under the same. Accompanied by a large number of people, Sharma started the works in the presence of PWD(R&B) officials,  local residents and political activists of the area.

 

A total estimated cost of  Rupees 8 lakhs will be spent on the same and works will be done under the supervision of PWD (R&B) department.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma Sat Sharma said that projects worth crores of Rupees have been completed in the Constituency and completion of works for almost every main road and link road shows that the Jammu West Constituency is moving on a progressive mode and soon it’s example will be given under the scope of Model Constituencies of Jammu and Kashmir.

 

He stated that ERA took up the works for laying waterand sewerage pipes in the area which worsened the condition of the road so the works had to be taken up in order to provide best possible infra to the masses of Jammu West and this work will benefit thousands of local residents and people passing through this road. He also stated that places where ERA took up the works of laying new water pipes and sewerage pipes are kept on priority so that in coming days, those works where the condition of roads and lanes are not in good condition are taken up in order to provide basis amenities to the residents of Jammu West at their door steps.

 

He also appreciated the efforts of PWD (R&B) department for starting of works and also expected that the quality of work done will last long and no spurious material will be used for the works which can create problems for the masses in the future.

 

Sharma also stressed on promoting the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to build a clean and green nation and appealed everyone to come forward and contribute in the noble cause.
