Sh. Vibodh Gupta inaugurates the lawyer’s chambers at Thanamandi

MLC Adv.Vibodh Gupta, along with a team of social activists visited Munsif Court Thanamandi and inaugurated Chambers constructed for Lawyers, for which funds were released under CDF of MLC in the last week of October. Gupta was welcomed by the lawyer’s fraternity and president of BAR (Lawyers Association) thanked MLC Gupta for visiting Court Complex and showing lot of concern for redressal of issued highlighted by the group of Lawyers during his last visit. He on behalf of his colleagues also thanked Gupta for fulfilling the long pending demand regarding Construction of chambers, at Thanamandi Court Complex.
President BAR association Thanamandi said that the Pro-active approach and broad vision can take a man towards excellence and the continuing with Developmental Agenda in mind with Public participation is actually being dealt under the leadership of MLC in efficient manner.
Gupta in his address said that it is a platitude that the legal profession is considered the first among all professions. Men and women who find themselves in this profession are regarded as people of sound reasoning powers and judgement. Lawyers are the cream and conscience of human society. That is why when lawyers speak, people think twice.
He said that, it is the duty of Advocates to perfect and safeguard not only the interests of their clients but to also ensure that Democracy prevail in our society. He said that Lawyers must be actively involved in the day-to-day activities of civil society. RULE OF LAW, which is the salient pillar of sustainable democracy and a guarantor of peace, harmony and tranquility, as well as unity in every human society is maintained by Lawyers. Gupta said that Lawyers involvement in the Legislature will ensure that the doctrine of separation of powers as enshrined in our Constitution is well respected and practicalized to the fullest.
Gupta while referring to the people of the region, said that people of this Pir Panchal Region, are very cooperative and live in brotherhood relations with each other. He said that people of all religions are living with unity and share all their sorrows and Happiness in day to day life. Gupta appreciated the role of Youth, Religious leaders and general public for maintaining Peace and harmony in the Region, despite the tense situations in some other regions of the State.
Gupta also congratulated the people of Thanamandi, as their wards qualified the State’s prestigious exam (KAS). He said that youth is the pillar of society and their right orientation means progression of society towards excellence. Gupta said that State Govt. is making all efforts to provide all facilities to the Youth of the state in respect of their education. Residential Schools in various districts are being constructed along with Hostel facility worth rupees in crores.
Gupta also visited the House of Mr. Fareed Ahmed and showed his sympathy and concern. It is pertinent to mention that house of Fareed Ahmed gutted in Fire two days go, due to LPG cylinder blast. Gupta also provided an amount of Rs 1 lakh as immediate assistance to the family under CDF. Gupta said that he shall also take up the matter with the District Administration for providing Rs. 20.00 Lacs as Compensation for reconstruction of House.
Gupta also appreciated the role of District Development Commissioner, Dr. Shahid Iqbal, who after the reports of fire incident rushed the senior officers of administration including SDM, SDPO and Tehsildar to the spot, coordinated the rescue operation and assessed the damage. Fire tenders were also pushed in to prevent further spread of fire.
Public of the area demanded for Fire Tender and Gupta assured that shortly Fire Service Station shall be established at Thanamandi, to meet out any untoward eventuality in the area.
Gupta also interacted with general public at Azmatabad and discussed several matters regarding availability of different facilities. He assured the public that all the areas of the state would be provided all basic facilities at their door steps. Several deputations and individuals from various parts of Thanamandi area met the MLC and brought their problems into his notice. Responding to the demands raised by deputations, Gupta assured them that he would take up the issues with the concerned Departments for their early redressal. He said that the Government is committed to development of rural and far flung areas. Gupta also said that People should come forward to avail the benefits of various schemes being launched by the Coalition Govt. under the headship of Madam Mehbooba Mufti and Dr. Niraml Singh, who have a unique mindset for making the State a developed and peaceful.At last he appealed the public to stand against the divisive forces and keep faith on Government and assured his full support and cooperation.

Mr. Ghani Shawl, Mandal Pardhan said that the Thanamandi area was deprived from the Developmental aspects, but now under the rule of Coalition Government, various departments are seen working on ground like, Education, PDD, RDD & PHE. He said that Mr. Gupta, is doing at its best and doing works irrespective of region, religion & caste and is a tall leader of Pir Panchal Region.
