BJP State President and MLA Sat Sharma kickstarts works for next phase of Community Hall near Arya Samaj Mandir, Bakshi Nagar

In an impressive program held at Arya Samaj Mandir, Bakshi Nagar area of Ward Number 27, State Vice President BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) started work for next phase of construction of Community Hall in the premises of Arya Samaj Temple, Bakshi Nagar. Sharma started the works in the presence of scores of people including Administration Committee of the Temple, JMC officials various social and political activists and many others. The amount will be met through JMC.

Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma (CA) said that the work of Community Hall in the temple premises has been completed in various phases and it was one of priorities which were to be met. He said that the role  of Arya Samaj has been great in the modern society from  a very long time.

He said the Arya Samaj was undoubtedly the most dynamic socio-religious reform movement modern society ever saw. “Among all the socio-religious reform movements, which tended to have a national scope and a program of reconstruction in the social and religious spheres”.

Describing Maharishi Swami Dayananda’s contribution towards creating the national consciousness, Sat Sharma said, “How great and uplifter of the people he was whose vigorous force presented immediate action in India at the movement of the rebirth and re-awakening of the national consciousness.

He stated that Maharishi Swami Dayanand was deeply perturbed with the sad plight of Indian women in old times. He was the first to roar like a loin in public platforms for female education giving evidences of admirable type of women Rishis like Gargi and Maitriya.

He also stated the role of Arya Samaj in ending the caste discrimination from the country.

The committee also thanked the MLA for contributing the amount for the Arya Samaj Community Hall in the premises.

Sharma also toured the adjoining areas with the officials of JMC  and directed them to take up the incompleted works in the area in order to avoid public inconvenience.
