Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Charitable Hospital Doing Great Service to Society: Vibodh

Announces Rs. 5 Lakh Support from CDF to Support the Noble Cause.BJP senior leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta today visited Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Charitable Hospital and interacted with the patients and staff management. During his visit he was informed that in order to keep with the advanced technology in medical science and ever increasing demand of the suffering public, the hospital management has drawn a proper plan to update the equipment and to expand the infrastructure. In order to maintain the charity character of the hospital the hospital service rates charged for various advanced services are 5% less than the current market rates. The members of the management committee work in honorary capacity and give daily free service to the hospital. In this hospital OPD fee charged from patients is only Rs. 10. During his interaction with specialist doctors MLC was informed that for various laparoscopic related and other surgeries the hospital has best and state of the art infrastructure. Such things were made possible in this charitable hospital only because whatever the hospital earns is invested back for hospital service and infrastructure development.

MLC Vibodh appreciated the great efforts of the hospital management specially former union minister Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta, President of the management committee of the hospital who gives 5-6 hours daily to hospital free of cost. He said that from this every citizen of our society must learn and follow his footsteps. He described Prof. Gupta a great leader and hoped that under his able guidance the hospital will continue to serve the poor and needy. He expressed his happiness over the fact that poor sections of our society are getting benefited from this hospital as they are getting state of the art services at very affordable prices. He called upon every section of the society to contribute towards the development of this hospital. During his visit MLC announced a grant of Rs. 5 Lakh from his CDF and said that this grant will be kept at the disposal of the hospital management for further improving the hospital infrastructure.
