Vibodh Calls for Speedy Implementation of Various PHE Schemes in Rajouri

In order to ensure a speedy implementation of various PHE schemes in Rajouri district BJP senior leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta today held a detailed discussion with Sushil Aima, Chief Engineer PHE. Executive engineer Rajouri Nisar Khan was also present in the meeting and gave a detailed account of current ongoing schemes. During the meeting it was informed that currently work on schemes in the rural areas in Muradpur, Murabakhpura, Manjdera, Gambir Muglan and Jabar Jamolah is in going on and at the same time some new proposals are being developed to ensure adequate water supply to these rural areas. Further MLC Vibodh was informed that LIC 1 project for Rajouri town stands approved and funds for this project will be released soon. Once this project gets through the major water problem of Rajouri will be solved. While having discussions on LIC project MLC Vibodh requested the Chief Engineer that this is the high time that we should design LIC 2 project simultaneously as population of the area is increasing and this project will be timely as far as the long term planning with regard to supply of water supply scheme in Rajouri is concerned.
The performance with regard to PHE mechanical division in Rajouri was also discussed during the meeting. It was informed that the performance of mechanical division is not up to the mark and they need improvement in many areas. The chief engineer took a serious note of this and assured the MLC that he will look into the matter on priority. The shortage of JE’s in the PHE division of Rajouri was also discussed during the meeting as this is hampering the day to day water supply schemes in various areas. It was agreed during the meeting that regular review of various ongoing schemes will be done so that uninterrupted water supply can be assured to various far off areas of district. MLC Vibodh Gupta said that good roads, water supply and electricity are the basic necessities and he considers it as his duty to facilitate these works so that can man can be benefited from these.
