Vibodh inaugurated Ganesh Mahotsava at Rajouri

Prayed for peace, prosperity and brotherhood in the state

Vibodh Gupta, MLC Rajouri being the Chief Guest, inaugurated the 125th year celebrations of the Ganesh festival at an impressive function, held at Anand Bharti Vidyapeeth Rajouri, organised by Sanskriti Prava Samitti Rajouri by lightening of traditional Lamp. District President of the Samitti Rajesh Bunty welcomed the MLC and other dignitaries in the function. Rajesh Bunty elaborated the sequence of the Programme and briefed the gathering that Shoba Yatra shall also be taken out from Anand Bharti Vidyapeeth, Rajouri and later Murti Sathpana will also be done. The Havan, Pooja Bhajan kirtan will continue till 4th of September 2017 and Murti Visarjan shall also be done, in which Murti shall be immersed in the local River by Chief Guest.

Gupta while interacting with the public, firstly extended his wishes and congratulated the Bhakts of Ganesh Ji on the occasion and said that Chaturthi Celebrations were initiated in Maharashtra by Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaja to promote culture and nationalism in his people. The festival got fresh breath when Bal Gangadhar Tilak brought back the tradition of Ganesh Chaturthi from private family celebrations into a grand public event to build unity among people from all backgrounds and to put a fight against Britishers. Since then, this festival has been celebrated throughout India with great enthusiasm and participation with more and more people joining the processions every year. With the independence of India in 1947, Ganesh Chaturthi was proclaimed to be a national festival.

Gupta said Ganesh mahotsav is not only a religious, but a social festival and on these occasions, all should pray for the Peace, prosperity and brotherhood in the Nation. Gupta said that in India, religious festivals are the most common occasions, where people get opportunities to meet with each other and know about their well being. Gupta said, India is hub of all religions and all Communities (Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs) are living with unity and participates in Religious functions. Gupta said that it gives immense pleasure to be the Chief Guest on this Occasion, where religious values are always taken care of. Gupta said all arrangements are in place to ensure that the Pooja shall take place in proper way. Gupta also issued on spot instructions to the Power Development Department, to ensure 24 Hours Power Supply, during Pooja days.

Referring towards his Political Party and Centre Government, Gupta said that, with the formation of BJP Government at the Centre, People of the nation have regained their faith in the party, seeing it as means to fulfill their dreams. Gupta said that a seed that was sown on this day 37 years ago in 1980, has now blossomed now into a soothing and imposing giant tree with strong and firm roots. He said that our strength lies in party’s cadre and it is their contribution which has enabled the party to take lead over all other political parties and reached at a place where it is now ruling the Centre as well a number of States and thus putting Congress at its lowest ebb.

Gupta Said that under the guidance of Narender Bhai Modi, Prime Minister of India, India is determined to achieve new heights of progress, peace and prosperity and dream of “Naya Hindustan” Congress Free-Corruption free, shall come true. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, BJP shall be seen everywhere as in Majority of States, BJP is establishing its Government. Gupta said that J&K being Muslim majority State has adopted the policies of BJP and regained its faith just because of the transparent policies of the Govt. Today we have more than one lakh members in Kashmir valley only and it is the indicator of the change in the mindset of people who have seen Congress and other parties.

Gupta in his concluding remarks appreciated the role of Samitti for organising such an impressive function. MLC also extended all kind of support to the members of Samitti for organizing any event, which enhances Unity in the society and is in welfare of the society whether religious or Social.
