Vibodh Launches Campaign To Promote Gramoday Se Bharat Uday Abhiyan In Rajouri

Calls on Panchyats to organise specail programmes on 24 April 2016

In order to promote the recently launched programme“Gramoday Se Bharat Uday Abhiyan” Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narinder Modi BJP senior leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta organised a series of meetings at Tandwal, Sadhyal, Dassal and Muradpur villages in Rajouri district. During these meetings the MLC highlighted various developmental initiatives of the central and state Governments.
He highlighted the recent commitments of Hon’ble PM Sh. Narinder Modi wherein he has promised that 18,000 unelectrified villages in the country are being electrified with a 1000 day deadline. He said Panchayati Raj institutions should be made stronger and more vibrant and developmental initiatives of the present Government must reach to the last poor and strong panchyats will be a mean to deliver this on the ground.
He further added that the aim of this campaign is to make nationwide efforts to strengthen Panchayati Raj and through it, boost social harmony in the villages, promote rural development and foster farmers’ welfare & livelihoods of the poor.
Panchayats across the country will conduct the campaign. Hon’ble Prime Minister will address all Gram Sabhas on April 24, 2016 and the address will be telecast and aired to all villages across the country, and villagers will gather together to hear it.
During these awareness programmes MLC Vibodh informed that Panchayati Raj Day national programme will be organised on April 24, 2016 at Jamshedpur. Around 3,000 Panchayat Representatives from all states of the country will participate in this programme. Hon’ble Prime Minister will address the gathering, which will be beamed to all the Gram Sabhas all over the country. People will gather in villages across the country to hear the Prime Minister’s address.
District President BJP Rajouri who accompaniyed MLC Vibodh in these programmes said that various villages of Rajouri will organise special programmes on 24 April to jointly listen the special radio address of Hon’ble PM.
Gram Uday Se Bharat Uday Abhiyan” (meaning village emergence & development to Bharat emergence & development) is being conducted across the country, beginning with the Birth Anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar on 14th April 2016, culminating in “National Panchayati Raj Day” on 24 April 2016.
