Vibodh Visits Pak Shelling Affected Border Villages of Rajouri

Takes Stock of Damage to the Livestock and Agricultural Fields of Border Villages

A delegation of BJP leaders led by MLC Vibodh Gupta visited Nikapanjgrian, Trikundi, Panjgrian, Peryali and Manjakote border villages of Rajouri and took stock of the damage being caused to the life and property of the border residents. The recent unproved firing by Pakistan rangers in various border villages is leading to huge loss to the migrants of various remote villages in Rajouri and Poonch districts. During this visit MLC Vibodh patiently heard the sufferings narrated by individual families in the area. The locals informed that due to heavy shelling the animals of many families have been injured. In many cases the visiting delegation was shown the agricultural fields damaged as a result of current turmoil. In two cases the whole fodder stock of the villagers were burnt as a result of Pak shelling. Under these circumstances the livelihood of these poor and vulnerable border residents is under sever threat.

Addressing a gathering at Trikundi village MLC Vibodh said that he and his party holds very high esteem for the border migrants for the great service these people are rendering to the nation. The residents of border villages are standing neck to neck with our brave soldiers who are giving a befitting reply to the Pakistani rangers for their nefarious designs. He assured the locals that he will take their voice to the senior party leaders and to the concerned ministers in the Government so that these losses are suitably compensated. He said that current demonetization decision of the Modi Government wherein Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes have been banned, has broken the back bone of the enemy and all the terrorist forces operating in J&K. Due to this our neighbor country is in a state of shock as the black money which these forces were using against India is of no use now. This is the main reason that Pakistani rangers are indulging in unproved firing as they are in complete state of frustration. He called upon the border residents to remain united as they have done in the past. He further added that during his complete tour every local has told him that they are ready to make any sacrifice for the country. They are also fedup with the proxy war stated by Pakistan from many years now. For this MLC saluted the border people for their bravery and courage. Reacting to the demand of permanent bunkers for the border people, MLC informed the gathering that Hon’ble CM Mehbooba Mufti also shares this concern and this is the main reason that she has also recently announced the construction of permanent bunkers for the border people. Overall MLC Vibodh ensured the villagers that Government stands fully committed towards the problems of border people for all the sacrifices which these people have made for the nation.

BJP senior leader Ranjeet Tara also addressed the gathering and called upon the youth of the border villages to help the elderly and needy in this hour of need. Prominent among others who accompanied the MLC include Mohd. Sayeed Qureshi, QayoomShamim, Mohd. Noor Hussain, Bodhraj, Shonki Kumar, VikasChandan, Hardik Kumar and Sanjay Sharma.
