We will win assembly polls: BJP

The State Unit of BJP is very confident of achieving Mission 44+ in the coming Legislative Assembly elections. The party will form a government of its own in the state of Jammu & Kashmir for the first time, according to party Spokesperson Arun Kumar Gupta.
Arun Kumar Gupta said that the state unit was waiting eagerly for the forthcoming visit of BJP National President Amit Shah to J&K in the near future. The party workers are enthusiastic that under the dynamic leadership of Amit Shah, they will be able to put in their best performance ever, he added.
Given Amit Shah’s formidable organizational skills, which are legendry in their own right, the Jammu & Kashmir unit of the state BJP to learn a lot from him. The party workers want to inculcate the spirit of hard work from Amit Shah and take the party to new heights in the political sphere.
Amit Shah’s visit will help the party to organize itself better and gain from his experience of the recently concluded parliamentary elections. Under Shah’s leadership, the Uttar Pradesh Unit of the BJP had performed miracles and won 73 out of 80 Lok sabha seats in the state, Gupta recounted.
The challenge in Jammu & Kashmir will be overcome effectively by the state unit under Shah’s guidance and charismatic leadership. The party workers are enthused by the fact that every day, the party is attracting new talent and members into its fold. This augurs well for the BJP because it is growing from strength to strength.
Gupta also hailed the recent visit of Union HRD Minister Smriti Zubin Irani which helped the party cadres to gain a rare insight into the functioning of the party at the highest level. During Irani’s visit, the workers got an opportunity to learn many things for her and now look forward to the visits of the other Central leaders to J&K.
Along with Amit Shah, the visit of the senior leaders, JP Nadda, will offer an opportunity to the party workers to closely interact with him and take Mission 44+ to its logical conclusion. Since Nadda has been given the responsibility of the coming assembly elections in J&K, he visit will galvanize the party cadres.
Incidentally, Nadda has been keeping a close watch on the developments in J&K for a long time since he comes from the neighbouring hill state of Himachal Pradesh. His deep involvement in issue pertaining to J&K give him a rare insight into the working of the state unit and that will help the party in the coming days immensely.
Arun Kumar Gupta also said that the state Unit of the BJP is highly thankful to the Central leadership of the party for having drawn a plan to send senior leaders to the state for campaigning. This will further boost the morale of the party cadres to put in a spirited performance.
