Stating that the present government at the Centre under Narendra Modi has launched a number of welfare schemes for the women in the country, BJP State Vice-President Rajni Sethi said that the women are grateful to Modi government for the concern shown in this regard.
Rajni Sethi, alongwith BJP State Secretary Anuradha Chark, was interacting with the gathering of women drawn from different areas of Jammu, who had reached party office during the public darbar to take up their grievances and problems and sought help in getting the same resolved.
Rajni Sethi said that both BJP and its government at the centre have displayed their concern for the welfare and social upliftment of the women. “While BJP has granted thirty three percent reservation to women in its organizational set up and made its stand clear that they should be given representation in decision making bodies like Parliament and Assemblies, BJP-led NDA government has shown its commitment by launching a number of welfare schemes exclusively for the benefit of the women”, Rajni said and added that Beti Bachao Beti Padao, Ujawala Yojana, Sukanya Smridhi Yojana are some of the most innovative, effective and welfare oriented programmes of the government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Rajni Sethi further said that the BJP coalition in Jammu and Kashmir too has launched Ladli Beti and Marriage Assistance Scheme to help the poor girl besides hiking the widow pension, which proves the commitment for the welfare, social and economic upliftment of the women. She expressed hope that the genuinely deserving women will get the benefits of the schemes.
BJP Mahila Morcha State Secretary Shailja Gupta and Jammu District Mahila Morcha Secretary Pooja Chouhan assisted Rajni Sethi during her sitting at Trikuta Nagar office.
